No. The installation does not require cutting any wires in the vehicle’s wiring harness. It integrates cleanly with the CAN bus data network, making it completely reversible and safe for vehicle warranties.
The unit is incredibly small (about the size of a key fob) and is hidden deep within the wiring loom of the vehicle. Because it emits no radio frequencies, thieves cannot use diagnostic scanners to locate it.
Depending on how many doors you are securing and the type of lock (deadlock vs hook lock), installation typically takes between 1 to 3 hours. We do all the drilling, rust-proofing, and fitting on-site so you don’t lose a day of work.
